It is imperative to subtract 10% from the breaking load for each splice made in the rope. 28mm, 12m recovery rope. Looks a very good quality rope that is well constructed. The upside is that it is lighter than I expected too, so not a hassle to lug around. Haven't tested it's strength yet.

Recently ordered a 10m x 36mm Polysteel tow rope for recovery and off road use. Was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful craftsmanship, attention to detail with the sleeves on the loops, and quality. It’s very good value for money too. Wanted something decent that’s actually made in this country not some cheap rubbish made in China that will snap on the first pull. Top marks for a top quality product.

Absolutely Beautiful work! Not tested them yet but they look very capable! Didn’t know much about the Polysteel Rope. Its light but Oh Soooo Bulky! Might have made a mistake on buying those… Still very happy with the Quality!
