Why aren’t 40mm low profile fittings available?

We do not offer 40mm low profile fittings because the size of the man rope knots on bannister ropes exceeds the stem width of the low profile fitting. For a secure fit and aesthetic consistency, we recommend using standard profile fittings for 40mm ropes.

Are screws included with the handrail brackets?

Yes, all necessary screws are included with your purchase. You will receive screws to mount the brackets to the wall, as well as a center screw to hold the rope securely in place.

Can handrail brackets be used for anything other than rope?

While our handrail brackets are specifically designed to hold rope, some customers have successfully used them for other purposes, such as curtain poles and handrails. However, for optimal performance, we recommend using them with the rope they are designed for.

I bought rope elsewhere. Will your handrail brackets fit?

Our fittings are specifically designed to work with our rope. Rope diameters can fluctuate by up to 8%, so we cannot guarantee a perfect fit with rope purchased from other suppliers. For best results, we recommend using our rope to ensure compatibility.
