Custom Synthetic White Cotton Barrier Rope With Hook And Eye Plates – Made to Your Specifications

Welcome to the RopeServices UK Synthetic White Cotton Barrier Rope Configurator. Follow the three simple steps below to create a fully bespoke barrier rope, tailored to your exact specifications.

Step 1: Choose Diameter & Length

In this step, you will select the diameter and length of your barrier rope. The diameter refers to the thickness of the rope, which can influence both its appearance and how it fits within your space. Choose the right length to ensure a perfect fit for your barrier.
Length refers to the total measurement of the barrier rope, taken from behind the base plate of one cup end to behind the base plate of the other cup end. If you require a drape, please use our drape calculator for assistance. Click here (opens in a new tab). Be sure to include the drape length in the box below when specifying your desired rope length.

Step 2: Select Your Rope Fittings Finish

Choose the perfect hook finish to complement your barrier rope. Available in a range of styles, these fittings provide a secure and durable solution while ensuring easy installation. Select a finish that best suits your space for a professional result.

Eye Plates – Select the Quantity You Need

Please choose the number of eye plates required for your installation. All eye plates will have a 20mm diameter, as this is the optimal size for the hooks. They will also be supplied in the same colour as the selected hook finish to ensure a consistent look. Eye plates are not provided as standard and must be selected separately if required.

Step 3: Choose Worming

Worming is a decorative technique where a smaller rope is woven into the grooves of your bannister rope, adding a refined, personalised touch. If you’d like to add worming to your rope, please select from the options below. What is Worming? (opens in a new tab).
Note: If worming is selected, the images may not show the exact rope type or colour. We are working to add as many pictures as possible. Rest assured, your rope will be customised to your specifications.

Natural vs Synthetic Worming for Outdoor Use

Natural Worming is a traditional rope finishing method where a smaller natural fibre rope is wrapped around the main rope for added protection and a rustic appearance. However, when used outdoors, it is prone to shrinking, expanding, and rotting over time due to exposure to moisture and changing weather conditions. Synthetic Worming offers the same classic look as natural worming but with superior durability and weather resistance. Made from synthetic fibres, it does not shrink, expand, or rot, making it ideal for long-term outdoor use with minimal maintenance. This option ensures a consistent appearance while providing extra protection for your barrier rope.
By ticking the box below, you confirm that the configuration of the barrier rope entered above is correct and meets your specifications.
