30mm Natural Jute Rope for Colmans at Fenwick Newcastle
At RopeServices UK, we supplied 30mm natural jute rope for Colmans at Fenwick Newcastle, a new fish and chip restaurant inside Fenwick Newcastle. The project was led by Rufus Creative, a leading design agency, who wanted an authentic, maritime-inspired installation.
To bring their vision to life, they incorporated a quoit rope wall feature, and that’s where we came in. Our natural jute rope was the perfect choice for achieving a traditional, nautical aesthetic.
Colmans at Fenwick Newcastle – A Coastal-Inspired Restaurant
Colmans has been a North East institution for decades, known for serving some of the best fish and chips in the region. Their new restaurant inside Fenwick Newcastle brings their award-winning seafood to the city centre. The design needed to reflect their fishing heritage, creating a warm and stylish space.
To enhance the coastal theme, Rufus Creative designed a quoit rope feature wall using 30mm natural jute rope. This element added authenticity and a strong visual impact.

For this project, we supplied 220 metres of 30mm natural jute rope. This rope was ideal for the installation because it offers:
